Hawk Acquisition
System Configuration
Hawk is the primary HGL interface into the data acquisition system. Users have a graphical interface to add and remove components for the specific setup. Channels are defined from an easy to use grid layout where all settings are defined. Hawk also supports importing CSV configuration files to easily use a spreadsheet for setups.
Easy to Use
The Hawk GUI uses a large "breadcrumb" style of navigation buttons to help users know where to go using the software. Channels are color coded to display if they are ready for acquisition and the system keeps tracks of its status to alert the user if there is an error that needs attention.
Data Recording
Getting a large multichannel system to synchronize and stream data simultaneously can be a daunting task. Hawk manages all acquisition devices for users. It checks the status of all devices continually and ensures the data stream is recorded to disk.
Remote Control
HGL publishes a simple to use command interface that allows external systems to remotely load a configuration, start and stop recordings, and mark events. This lets customer control systems be a central location to manage the full test sytem.
